Theater Workshops and Productions
Grades KG-4th
Focusing on skills in acting, singing, and dance, Imagine's Pint Sized Performer workshops are centered around public speaking, confidence building, and having fun. The program introduces students to acting, singing, and dance. The workshop includes introductory costumes, props, stage lights, and more to enhance their storytelling. Perfect for kids coming out of their shell (no experience needed) as well as for those ready to take center stage and be in the spotlight! Students do not need to be able to read, we will help them with the script. Workshops are held as "closed rehearsals," meaning that parents do not need to stay in the rehearsal room. Parents can leave and come back at pick up time, or relax in our kitchen area in the lobby.
Rehearsals: Saturdays 9:30-11:00am,
begins September 14th
Show Dates: December 6th & 7th
Auditions are underway for the 400th Anniversary of "North Pole Musical," and everyone is in a panic. The dancing reindeer are "hoofin' it," but don't know what to do with Rudolph and his four left hooves. The elves are tired of always getting the short end of the stick and are singin' the blues. The snowmen are "chillin," but worried about the funky hot lights, and the toys are trying to do the entire Nutcracker Suite in three minutes. The annual Christmas show keeps getting bigger and bigger. But, wait a minute! Is bigger really better? See how Santa finds a way to remind everyone of the true meaning of the season.
Ages 10-16
Imagine's Players are ready to put on a full show! Shows are typically 60-minutes in length and include full cast musical numbers as well as opportunities to feature soloists, specialty dancers, and supporting characters. Oftentimes these are Junior (Jr.) productions which are a 60-minute version of a full Broadway show (reduced verses in long songs, cut subplots or unneeded musical numbers, with easy-to-read and learn scripts created especially for student performers). Auditions are held on the first day, with materials taught by the instructors. Rehearsals are two days per week with additional longer rehearsals added closer to performances. Students are encouraged to memorize and review materials at home as musical numbers are a bit more challenging with added harmonies and featured solos. Performances are open to family and friends with costumes, props, set pieces, and more. Directors are ready to meet all students at their respective experience level and feature their skill sets appropriately, no matter how long they have been performing.
Rehearsals: Tuesday's and Thursday's 4:30-7pm
begins September 10th
Show Dates: November 22nd & 23rd
Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.

Family Company
The primary objective of the Imagine Family Company is to facilitate the bonding of families through the medium of theater, enabling multiple generations to come together on stage and create a production that is suitable for all ages. Whether it's grandparents and their grandchildren, aunts and uncles with their nieces and nephews, or parents with their children, all family connections are encouraged to join in this endeavor. While children have the option to participate without an adult family member, it is mandatory for all adults involved in the production to be related to a participating student. Additionally, all adults will be required to obtain and submit child abuse clearances as volunteers.
