Theater Workshops
Workshop Information
Our Imagine Players and Imagine Jr Players workshops include weekly rehearsals culminating in a full musical or play production. We will alternate between musicals and plays. Please note that for both workshops it is important that participants work at home to learn their scripts. Each performer will have their own script that is theirs to keep and we encourage them to make notes and be sure their parts are all highlighted. If you would like tips for how to help your kiddo at home, talk to Miss Katie.
Our Imagine Mini Players Workshops are run monthly (four weeks) around a different story or theme.

This is our introductory theater and acting class for young children. These 4 week series are theme based. Children will help choose characters, create the dialogue and script, and we will work together to create simple costumes, props and set pieces with a short performance at the end of the month. Children should be able to complete the entire month of classes to participate. Classes are limited to 5 children per class.

If your child is sick please reach out to us as soon as possible. When time permits, we can adjust rehearsals plans to account for missing participants. For non-illness related absences see our Attendance Policy.

*NOTE ON AGE: Please note that in order to succeed in a scripted show, children will need to be able to sit patiently and follow directions during rehearsals, and work at home daily on memorizing his or her lines, dances, and poems. At younger ages, not all children are ready for this level of focus and memorization, and that is OK!
If during the rehearsal process, it seems the skills required are challenging for your child at this time, we will speak with you and issue a refund. We can also suggest some classes that may be a better fit for your child and apply a family credit. This decision will be at the discretion of the staff, so that all students can enjoy a successful production.
